Endodontic Master Class with Live Microsurgical Demonstration in Chennai Dental College

Chennai: Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Saveetha Dental College, SIMATS along with International Endodontic Society (IES) conducted the Master class by Dr.James L Gutmann on 18th October 2022.

The inauguration was carried out in the presence of Dr.Sheeja S. Varghese, Registrar, SIMATS and Dr.S.Aravind Kumar, Dean, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Chennai along with the IES Dr.V.Gopi Krishna,IES secretary General and Dr.M.Kavitha, Joint Secretary, IES.

Dr.James L. Gutmann,Professor Emeritus A & M University, Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas , Honorary Professor Wuhan University School of Stomatology, Wuhan China, Adjunct Professor, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, India Delivered the lecture on various topics in the field of Endodontics in Dentistry.

The most spectacular part of the event was the Live Demonstration on MicroSurgical Endodontics, an advanced endodontic procedure. This is the first time a microsurgical endodontic procedure was performed live in India. The program was attended by 200 plus students and faculties from across the country.
