DLSA Reasi Organises one Day Seminar on hazards of Drugs

REASI : District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, in collaboration with Global Peace Organization (NGO), on Saturday, organised a one day seminar on “Say no to Drugs and Yes to life” in the Auditorium of DC Office Complex.

Mr. Justice Mohammad Akram Choudhary was the Chief Guest, while Mr. R N. Watal, Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Reasi was the guest of honour and Deputy Commissioner Reasi and SSP Reasi were the special guests.

In his address, the Chief Guest, Justice Mr. Akram Chowdhary, apprised the audience about the ill effects of drug abuse. His Lordship also directed the DLSA Reasi to coordinate with the District Administration for conducting such programs in District Reasi.

Earlier, Secretary DLSA Reasi, Rekha Kapoor Nischal welcomed the dignitaries and senior Advocate K.K.Dubey presented the vote of thanks.

The gathering was also addressed by Mr. R.N Watal, Principal District and Sessions Judge,Reasi, Ms. Babila Rakwal, Deputy Commissioner Reasi and Mr.Amit Gupta,SSP Reasi The Proceedings of the Program were Conducted by Mr Sheikh Altaf Hussain,Chairman Global Peace Organisation and Ms Rashi Baru,Vice Chairperson GPO. In the middle of the program a pledge was also taken by the whole audience to make the society drugs free .At the start of the program, a plantation drive was also held at District Court Complex, Reasi.
