DLIC Doda approves 55 Mumkin, 57 Tejaswini cases

DODA : District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Doda today approved 55 Mumkin and 57 Tejaswani scheme cases at a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan.

A total 56 Mumkin cases were presented before the Committee of which 55 were approved while 01 claim was rejected as the beneficiary had already availed the benefit of self employment scheme through KVIB. The Committee also analyzed 59 cases under Tejaswini Schemes of Mission Youth of which 2 cases were rejected as the beneficiaries had already availed benefit under PMEGP through District Industries Centre Doda.

Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Dy Director Employment Doda, Representative of GM DIC, DSWO, ARTO, DNO JKEDI and Lead Bank Manager.

It is imperative to mention here that the Mumkin scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme, commercial vehicles are provided to the youth on subsidised rates. Similarly under Tejaswini Scheme, financial support is provided by the Govt to the females of 18 to 35 year age group for new startups.
