470 villagers get specialist medical facilities at Raj Bhavan’s initiative
Bhopal : On the instructions of Governor Shri Lalji Tandon, the Raj Bhavan has taken a new initiative to extend cooperation to serve the suffering humanity. The doctors of Raj Bhavan are providing health facilities to the villagers by setting up health camps in rural areas.
In the month of December, on the spot checkup of the villagers for anaemia, diabetes, blood pressure, tooth, eye ailments and seasonal diseases in the health camps organized in Kaudia village and Hinotiya road. They were given proper treatment and health counseling. The camps benefited 470 villagers. Health checkup and ante-natal check up of women were also done. Blood pressure of all the villagers present was also checked. Homoeopathy medicine for prevention from malaria was distributed by the doctors to the villagers present in the camp. The Governor has instructed the doctors of Raj Bhavan to organize two camps in rural areas every month.
A health camp was organized by the medical team of Raj Bhavan in Kaudia village of Phanda development block of Bhopal district recently. Health examination of 235 villagers was carried out in the camp and free medicines were distributed. The first camp of the month of December was organized on December 2 in the Hinoti Sadak village of Berasia district panchayat. Medical services were provided to 235 villagers in the camp. There was one patient each of breast lump, goitre, paralysis, valve change in the camp, who were advised proper and expert treatment. Dr. Darpan Gangil also conducted a health checkup in the camp on behalf of University Health Centre.
Two health camps will be organized in the month of January. The camp is being organized in the villages adopted by the universities. The members of the National Service Scheme have actively supported the event.
