Geology students get jobs

ALIGARH : As many as 20 students from the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University have qualified for the national level examinations for different positions, including Assistant Geologists, Assistant Mining Geologists and Junior Mining Geologists.

Prof Kr Farahim Khan (Chairman, Department of Geology) informed that Mohammad Aatif Raza, Mohammad Qazim Raza, Ramish Mehdi, Mohd Salman, Hilal Khan and Mohd Tahir have qualified as Assistant Geologists in the Geological Survey of India, whereas Zaid Malik, Saqib Khan, Rajiullah Khan, Ejaj Ahmad Khan, Rahil Usmani, Faraz Ahmad, Tahreer Ayaz, Mohd Sajid, Mohd Salman and Gulam Asif qualified for the Assistant Mining Geologists in Indian Bureau of Mines. Zaid Malik, Rajiullah Khan, Mujeeb and Mohd Sajid have qualified as Junior Mining Geologists at the Indian Bureau of Mines.
