Genesis Global School organized ‘Affaire d’honneur’, an adaptation of Leonard Merrick’s short story ‘The Judgement of Paris’
NOIDA: Genesis Global School, a premier day-cum-residential school in Noida organised ‘Affaire d’honneur’ – a play adaptation of Leonard Merrick’s short story ‘The Judgement of Paris’. The story revolves around three main characters and their love for each other. While two actors from Paris, fall in love with a woman who happens to be their co-star, the play juggles with their love trio and unfolds a complete package of dance, music, joy, sorrow and horror, all experienced on the honourable path of love.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Madhur Gupta, Principal CBSE, Genesis Global School said, “Genesis Global School believes in the holistic development of the students and feels that education should extend beyond the horizons of a classroom such that they learn the values of life. ‘Affaire d’honneur’ was our way of teaching students the value of careful decision making which I personally feel the youth must comprehend. We are very happy with the overall turnout of the program and will plan more such events in the coming future”.
The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Kshitij Mathur who emphasized on why art is important for holistic growth. He also strongly believes that culture should not die. Mr. Kshitij is the President (Noida-NCR) for the prestigious Sangam Kala Group, a 40 year old pioneer group which has given initial platforms to singing stars like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, etc. to name a few.
