B2V4: One-day training programme held for visiting officers at Ramban

RAMBAN : District Administration Ramban, under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam, today organized a one-day training programme for the officers deputed for Back to Village Phase-IV (B2V4) activities. They were imparted training regarding guidelines and activities to be organized in their assigned Panchayats during the programme.

As many as 90 visiting and other concerned officers were sensitized about their role and responsibilities during the B2V4.

The training programme was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma and conducted by the Master Trainers, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, Ganesh Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer, Rahul Gupta, Assistant Director, Employment Sushant Gupta and Block Development Officer, (Hqtr) Ramban, Muneer Ahmed.

Highlighting the objectives of ‘Back to Village’-IV programme, the ADDC asked the officers to encourage the PRIs as well as general masses to actively participate in the programme to ensure holistic development of the their respective Panchayats according to the development plan formulated by the PRIs under different schemes.

The ADDC asked the officers to assess the functioning and the empowerment of the Panchayats capturing Panchayat and sector-wise data under Back to Village programme, besides asking them to hold detailed deliberation in the Gram Sabhas about the issues and follow-up action taken on Back to village-l, ll and III by the concerned departments.

The ADDC asked visiting officers to provide the information in a pre- designed format for the allocated Panchayat, besides capturing Panchayat and sector-wise data under B2V4.

The Master Trainers briefed the visiting officers about the objective and salient features of the B2V4 and asked them to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines of the programme.

They provided important information viz. purpose of visit, instructions and guidelines to be followed, Action points during the visit and collection of data under Key deliverables of each department for the successful conduct of the UT flagship programme for officers.

During the interactive session, the participants raised various queries pertaining to programmes and resource persons cleared their doubts on-the-spot.

Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Dr Kasturi Lal, Dy. DEO Lal Chand, besides other senior officers attended that training programme.
