B2V-4 commences with much fanfare across Shopian; Multifarious activities conducted on Day-1
SHOPIAN : The Back to Village-4th programme (B2V- 4) started today with much fanfare across Shopian with the visit of 32 officers to the district under phase first.
On the occasion, the Visiting Officers held interaction with the locals, civil society and PRI representatives of their respective Panchayats to take stock of public demands, grievances and other developmental needs.
They also interacted with Officers and Officials of line departments and inspected various works executed under previous B2V programmes and other developmental schemes. They obtained feedback from the general public in implementation of Schemes of the Departments and urged them to ensure maximum participation and full cooperation in the ongoing B2V4 programme.
The Visiting Officers also inspected Amrit Sarovar sites, JJM works and inaugurated several projects.
Visiting officers during the programme took stock of the progress of various schemes/plans being implemented by various departments in detail.
Officers/officials of various line departments, DDCs, BDCs, PRIs and people in large numbers participated in these B2V4 programmes.
Officers visited several government offices in the villages including schools, Healthcare centres, Anganwari centres, and other offices and took stock of the services being provided to the public.
Sports activities, cultural activities, distribution under Public welfare schemes and Employment generation schemes were conducted.
On the occasion, the Visiting Officers distributed Sports kits, Land passbooks to the beneficiaries besides kits to women beneficiaries were provided.
