B2V-4 Programme witnesses immense public response at Kulgam
KULGAM : The phase 4th of Back to Village programme kick-started from today in 57 Panchayats of the district and the programme witnessed immense public response with large number of people visiting function sites and apprising visiting officers of their local developmental needs.
During the programme, visiting officers deployed to Panchayats listened to public grievances and visited developmental sites, distributed certificates and Land passbooks.
Officers and officials from line departments also sensitized and enrolled the eligible beneficiaries under various beneficiary oriented schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat said that there are 178 Panchayats in 11 blocks of district and all the panchayats will be covered in 3 phases under the ambitious public outreach programme.
He said today more than 57 panchayats were covered and visiting officers in these panchayats listened to the grievances and demands of people and took stock of pace and progress of development in these areas.
Members of PRIs also participated in these programs.
