JAMMU : The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office – Jammu is functioning in flexi hours to offload the work related to claims by capitalising on system speed.

The EPFO is servicing the entire area from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh with regard to settlement of claims, redressal of grievances, and facilitating stakeholders. To ensure service delivery at doorstep, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer, advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands-on demonstration.

On the grievance of Happy Sharma reported through WhatsApp about the non-approval of his KYC by the Employer, the EPFO directed the employer to update the same at the earliest. It was found that no DSC/E-sign was registered by his employer. The employer was facilitated over telephone for registering on DSC.

Pawan Kumar from M/s Press Club approached P F Commissioner with the request to change his name from Pawan Sharma to Pawan Kumar and the same was updated. Lal Bahadur Ram from M/s Diligent HR Services, Krishan Singh and Surjit Singh approached P F Commissioner to update their missing details.

Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I ordered to process the Joint Declaration immediately and the same was processed within one hour.

Bank and Pan KYC of Sunil Kumar and Mohammad Sharief was submitted and they were advised to get it approved by their employers.

Silvi Kaur From M/s Vit Placement Services approached to P F Commissioner for the approval of E-Sign of the Establishment. The P F Commissioner directed concerned official to process it promptly.

Anoop from M/s Viraj Enterprises also visited to the office to get approval of E-Sign and he was advised to re-submit the request as no request letter was submitted.

Many cases where death of the members has occurred got verified and instructions were issued suitably to dealing hands to process all death claims.

Reetika Mahajan wife of Late Vaibhav Gupta approached P F Commissioner with a request that Pension Claim in r/o of her deceased husband is reportedly forwarded by RO, Vadodara, however the same was yet to be forwarded by that Office. The matter was taken up with P F Commissioner, Vadodara, who directed concerned authorities and Pension papers of Late Vaibhav Gupta ji would be processed accordingly, once the same are received from Vadodara.

Meanwhile, a Special drive for cleanliness is going on at RO, Jammu. Shubham, Surjit, Sukhdev Raj, Shri Shakti and Ajay participated in Swachhata Abhiyaan.

The Regional PF Commissioner-I will personally hear the grievances/issues of all stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. All the stakeholders can visit the office for quick disposal of their grievances and to register any problems faced by them related to EPFO.
