On October 25, Alyona Nevolina, Head of the Department of Academic Development at UrFU, visited the Beijing Dance Academy, accompanied by the President of the Eurasia International Association. The guests were received by Guo Lei, Rector of the Academy, Liu Lan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and other staff members.

“The 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party recently took place. I carefully studied the report and paid special attention to the requirements to increase the international competitiveness of education. Cooperation between our two sides will contribute to the implementation of this task,” stressed Alyona Nevolina.

The sides provided each other with information about the history and current scope of the organizations. The cooperation agreement signed between the universities was examined by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and received a positive conclusion. Both sides are expected to achieve high results through cooperation based on deep integration, complementary advantages and mutual benefits.

“The Beijing Academy of Dance has been cooperating with Russia for a long time. As early as 1954 it established close ties with specialists from the former Soviet Union. As the only specialized university of dance in China, the Academy has received the attention and support of the Party and the state. The interaction between our two sides has a deep historical basis and great potential. The cooperation will promote academic exchange between the two sides, we will broaden the horizons of teachers and students, and comprehensively improve the quality of the educational process,” said Guo Lei.
