Rajouri: DLIC approves 138 cases under Mumkin & Tejaswini Schemes
RAJOURI : District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Rajouri today approved 138 new cases under Mumkin and Tejaswini Scheme here at its meeting chaired by the District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal.
Officers present in the meeting were CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; DDE, Qadeer Ul Rehman and DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt and Employment Officer, Mohd Aslam.
The Mumkin Scheme is an initiative of Mission Youth for providing sustainable livelihood to unemployed youth in the transport sector. Under the scheme commercial vehicles are provided to the youth on subsidised rates while under Tejaswini Scheme, financial support is provided by the Govt to the females failing in the 18 to 35 year age group.
After threadbare discussion, the DLIC approved 90 fresh cases under the Mumkin and 48 under Tejaswini scheme.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned officers to generate mass awareness among the educated and unemployed youth of the district about these schemes and ensure their maximum coverage under the same.
Stressing upon the officers to make sincere efforts to remove hindrances faced by the youth in availing benefits under the Mission Youth, the DDC asked them to coordinate and guide them wherever required.
