Director FCS&CA Kashmir assess developmental needs at Shadipora, Sumbal

BANDIPORA : The Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, Abdul Salam Mir today visited Panchayat Halqa Shadipora as Visiting Officer under 3rd phase of B2V-4.

The Director was accompanied by Assistant Director Bandipora Bilal Ahmed Najar and other officials of various departments.

The visiting officer interacted with the government functionaries, representatives of Panchayats and the local public. He also participated in the Gram Sabhas and enlisted public demands and needs for projection before the district and UT administration.

He, on the occasion distributed mother and child care kits among the lactating mothers, land passbooks and indoor sports items among the senior citizens.

He visited Government Higher Secondary School Shadipora where he kick-started the volleyball match and other sports activities like tug of war.

The Director also visited AWCs in the Village and took stock of the nutrition and other facilities available in these centers. He visited Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna beneficiaries, CSC Complex and the ongoing construction of a panchayat in Shadipora.

Later, he visited government sale centers and distributed ration tickets and soil health cards among beneficiaries.

He also informed the public about the importance of the Back to village programme.
