DLSA Samba observes National Legal Services Day

SAMBA : Under the aegis of NALSA and J&K Legal Services Authority, and as a part of Campaign of NALSA i.e.”Empowerment of Citizens through Legal Awareness and outreach’’ and also under the supervision and guidance of Ms. Sonia Gupta, Worthy Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (also Principal District & Sessions Judge Samba), District Legal Services Authority Samba observed National Legal Services Day, 2022 today at ADR Centre Samba.

Ms. Sonia Gupta, the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority Samba ( also Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge Samba) was the Chief Guest of the program. The Program was also attended by Ld. CJM Samba Sh. Arvind Sharma, Ld. Munsiff Ms. Poonam Gupta, Ld. Additional Munsiff Ms. Rashi Verma, Ld. Addl. Mobile Magistrate Ms. Ananta Raina, Panel Advocates, Staff and PLVs of DLSA Samba, besides a large number of Law Students.

The gathering was addressed by the Chief Guest, who sensitised the students/participants as to what role they can play for the betterment of the poor and marginalized section of the society after the completion of their LLB Degree.

Ms. Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority Samba welcomed the dignitaries and also presented vote of thanks on the occasion.

Haaris Khan and Ritish Sharma, students from the Dogra Law College Bari Brahmana Samba also spoke in the program.

Besides this, District Legal Services Authority Samba also observed National Legal Services Day through Panel Advocates and PLVs by organizing different awareness programmes at different places in District Samba.
