RV University to host Teen Indie Film Screening and Awards 2022

Bengaluru : RV University, an innovative, tech-driven, new-age global university for liberal education in India, is hosting for the first time the Teen Indie Film Awards 2022 on 12th November from 3 PM to 9 PM at its Mysore Rd campus, Bengaluru to recognise and celebrate creative excellence in film-making by young filmmakers. TIFA will witness screening of 18 films received from seven different educational institutions all over India. The Films revolve around themes such as humanity, suspense, thriller and other socially relevant themes. Film screenings of shortlisted films & interaction with nominated student filmmakers will take place between 3 PM – 5 PM on Saturday 12 November 2022 at MCA and Biotech auditoriums within the campus, which will be followed by the Awards ceremony at IEM Auditorium at RV University. Over 5 delegates from across streams will act as juries for the entries and will be presenting their thoughts on students’ creativity and originality.

This is part of the university’s academic contribution to curate interest groups across institutions and to establish a collaborative platform bringing students together and celebrating art and humanity as part of the liberal education concept.
