AMU faculty members deliver plenary talks at Lucknow symposium

Aligarh:The Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) continues to be a prominent research centre of nuclear sciences in the country as three faculty members delivered plenary talks at the annual symposium of the prestigious ?64th Department of Atomic Energy-Board for Research in Nuclear Sciences Symposium? held at University of Lucknow.

Prof Isar Rizvi delivered the plenary talk on ‘Study of Some Light, Medium and Heavy-ion Induced Reactions at the Cyclotron Energies’, while Prof Mohammad Sajjad Athar spoke on ‘Understanding Neutrino Nucleus Cross Sections at Intermediate Energies’. Dr Raktim Abir delivered talk on the topic, ‘Colour Glass Condensate and Glasma’.
