Students perform awareness street play at Women’s College
Aligarh : A team of female student actors creatively executed powerful dramatic elements and catchy dialogues to portray the sprawling roots of corruption in the Nukkad Natak (Street Play), ‘Say no to Corruption’ at the Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on November 22.
The play was performed under the Government directives to send forth the social message of ‘fight against corruption’.
“The performances in the Nukkad Natak were perfectly casted to demonstrate the ills of corruption at different levels and the subsequent consequences. Plays like these encourage people to do their bit for exposing corrupt activities, stopping dishonest practices and acting in public interest”, said Prof Naima Khatoon (Principal, Women’s college).
Dr Sadaf Fareed (Programme Convener) pointed out: “The Nukkad Natak was filled with humorous yet meaningful scenes and attracted people around”.
She motivated students and colleagues to take the necessary steps to eradicate corruption.
