GHSS Chill celebrates Annual Day
DC advises students to attend online classes, work hard during winter vacations
DODA : Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Chill celebrated its Annual Day by organizing a mega event today, District Development Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan was the Chief Guest.
A mesmerising and colourful cultural programme presented by the students of the school showcased the cultural ethos and invoked patriotic feelings among the audience. The Principal of the school read out the annual report of the school.
DDC Councillor Assar, Sulakshana Devi; SDM Assar, Lekh Raj; ACD, Phulail Singh; Chief Education Officer, Prahalad Bhagat; DEPO, Ayaz Mughal; ZEO, Ghat Tanveer Wani; Principal GHSS Chill Sudershan Chandail, Tehsildar Assar, SHO Assar, Staff of the GHSS Chill, Students and parents of the students participated in the programme.
The DDC, while speaking on the occasion, applauded the efforts of the Principal, teachers and students for organizing the grand event to mark the annual day celebration. He urged the staff and the students to propagate the idea and benefits of cleanliness (Swachta) among their families and villagers. He said that the District Administration has vowed to make the district garbage free and this is possible only when we all understand its objectives and work in coordination.
He also spoke on the drug menace and urged the youth to involve themselves in good things and report about the drug peddlers or users to the concerned.
He stressed upon the students to imbibe the essence of democracy, learn tolerance and work for upholding the communal harmony and brotherhood in the society. He wanted the students to participate in sports activities and ingrain in them the moral values to become good citizens. He asked students to attend online classes during winter and strive to upgrade their skills for their better future.
