My Town My Pride 2.0 Kick-starts at Samba’s 4 municipalities
Visiting officers takes overall assessment of govt run schemes, programmes
SAMBA : Under My Town My Pride 2.O programme, district administration Samba today kick started the outreach programme for ensuring transparent and effective governance at doorstep at four Municipalities of the district.
Among the visiting officers, Amit Sharma, Secretary Mining visited Bari Brahmana Municipality; Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development visited Ramgarh Municipality; Om Parkash, Director Mining visited Vijaypur Municipality who took an overall assessment of public aspirations in town area of Samba.
Various activities were conducted under MTMP including resolution of issues related master plans, inordinate delay in building plans, traffic decongestion plans, facade improvement plans, inheritance/ other mutations as per rules etc. Special events under sports, dancing, painting etc were also conducted.
Distribution of benefits under various schemes including PMAY-U, street vendor licenses, social security schemes, self employment schemes etc were also undertaken while all line departments also created awareness through dedicated stalls at the venue.
