OSC, MSK Rajouri organise awareness program at Girls Pahari Hostel

RAJOURI : On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, the One Stop Centre and Mahila Sashaktikaran Kendra Rajouri today organised an awareness program here in the Girls Pahari hostel.

Administrator OSC, Nitu Sharma and Warden Nasreen, Nazma Sheikh from MSK, Case Worker Suksham, staff and students were present in the program.

Speaking at the event, the Administrator OSC informed the students that emergency response, rescue response, Medicare facilities, legal aid, psycho-social counselling, assistance to women in lodging FIR and shelter are a few among other services being provided to distressed women at OSC.

She added that One Stop Centre provides full support to children and women who are the victims of any kind of violence which comes under the jurisdiction of OSCs.

She also made the girls aware about various schemes and programs of the Government for the welfare of the women folk and urged them to avail the benefits of the same.
