AMU faculty delivers guidance talk

Aligarh : Dr Mohd Arif Khan, Department of Social Work, AMU delivered an online talk on “Social Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship and Starting Startup in India” for the students of AKI Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, Maharashtra. More than 60 students of the final year UG program attended the talk.

The talk highlighted the significance of Social Innovations for the benefit of society and national development. Youth have immense potential in coming up with novel innovative ideas and creativity and students are motivated to develop ideas and incorporate them with social development.

Social Entrepreneurship has emerged in setting up social enterprise and are making an indelible mark in bringing transformative change in lives of different sections of society

Dr Khan also informed the students regarding the flagship Startup India initiative launched by the Prime Minister. He shared the steps for registration of Startups and discussed the handholding support and incentives provided by the government in this regard.
