Techno India Group Hosts KIIT NanhiPari, 2022-Little Miss India Auditions
Kolkata : Techno India Group, the largest private education group in Eastern India, hosted an enlightening regional fashion pageant audition, KIIT Nanhi Pari,2022,involving the school children. Two winners were selected to represent the national level of Little Miss India to be held at Bhubaneshwar.
An initiative taken by Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group to boost the confidence in women at a young age and prepare them to face the modern world. The pageant audition was judged by Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya, Celebrity Chef, Mr Pradeep Rosario, Bollywood actress, Ms Richa Sharma and Professor, Ms Rupa Mukherjee. Guru Sanchita Bhattacharya, an Indian Odissi Dancer specialized in classical Odissi dance. She has performed across India and abroad including at New York’s Madison Square garden. The New York Times noted, “her dance has been described as perfection”. Celebrity Chef Mr. Rosario is known for his outstanding contribution to furthering the cause of Global cuisine in India and strengthening International relations through the culinary exchange. Richa Sharma a famous film actress as well as a former Mrs. India pageant winner. She was crowned Mrs. India International in Atlanta after beating her fellow contestant. Prof. Rupa Mukherjee HOD of the English Department. KIIT Nanhipari,2022 has created a platform for every girl to walk the ramp and win the gracious title of Little Miss India. Walking the ramp has always been a dream to many, so creating the opportunity for the little stars is something to look forward to.
Each participant was graded on the following criteria: timing, style, performance, creativity, intelligence, smartness and dress & makeup. The students made it difficult for the judges to decide. Class X students Ms. Parijat Chaudhury of TIGPS, Konnagarand Ahana Samanta, TIGPS Ariadaha stole the show and were adjudged the winners.
“Had someone proposed me to host a pageant audition even two years ago, my answer would have been an absolute no. But my perspectives have changed over the past couple of years and I now understand that such competitions are more than just a comparison of beauty. Beauty is just not how beautiful one look, it is more importantly aboutthe compassion and confidence. Absolute winners in life are the people who look at every challenge with the assurance that they can be victorious through their own ability.Techno India Group has always been open to challenges to weave the magical values of education and co curricular activities. We encourage our students to follow their passion always. KIIT Nanhi Pari, 2022 is indeed a great initiative”, said Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group.
Students between the age group of 15 – 17 years got a wonderful opportunity to represent their respective districts and audition for the national-level competition of KIIT Nanhi Pari, 2022wherein they walked the ramp and showcased their talents with absolute brilliance.
