BSc Nursing (Hons) students at Ngee Ann Academy in Singapore celebrated graduating from King’s first degree programme taught fully overseas.

The celebration brought together 149 graduates and 600 friends and family. The event recognised the success and resilience of the students, who graduated despite facing significant challenges along the way due to Covid-19.

Learning at King’s is not just about lectures and exams but about engaging with the larger world. Our task is not just to give you a degree. Our job is to help you find your purpose and your passion; to help you to form those friendships that will last a lifetime; and to help you explore the world beyond academia. I am delighted that King’s and Ngee Ann Academy will be renewing their partnership this year, with exciting news on the horizon for those wishing to continue their studies with King’s at a post-graduate level.
– Professor Richard Harding, Vice Dean (International), addressing the graduates in the celebration’s opening speech
