AMU Research Scholars Present Papers

Aligarh : Six research scholars of the Department of Philosophy, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) participated and presented their research papers in the 95th session of the Indian Philosophical Congress (IPC) and the 4th Asian Philosophy Conference (APC) organized and hosted by Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV) at Wardha, Maharashtra.

Shaista Akhter and Anam Imran presented a paper on ‘Iqbal’s Perspective on Time: A Philosophical Analysis’, while Azad Ali presented a paper entitled John Rawls’ Theory of Justice: An Overview.

Mohammad Azad presented a paper entitled Jus Post Bellum: A Critical Review, while Rubina Sultana’s paper was on Shankara on Atman: A Philosophical Analysis. Another scholar Uzair Khan presented a paper entitled John Rawls’ Theory of Justice: A Critique

More than 450 delegates, eminent scholars and students from different parts of the country and other Asian nations participated and presented their papers during the four-day mega event.

Dr. Aquil Ahmad, Chairperson, Department of Philosophy, and faculty member Prof. Latif Hussain Kazmi, ex-Chairperson congratulated the research scholars on their endeavor and hoped that it will also inspire other students of the Department.
