Over 13 lakh people to do yoga in Karnataka to create new Guinness Book of World Records on Sunday

The Sports minister of Karnataka Dr. Narayanagowda has said that over 13 lakh people will do yoga tomorrow to create a new Guinness book of world record. Governor Thawarchand Gehlot will inaugurate Yogathon in Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru tomorrow morning.
The Additional Chief Secretary of Youth Empowerment and Sports department in Karnataka Dr. Shalini Rajneesh has said that NSS coordinators are wrested with the responsibility to bring the Yoga practitioners from National Youth Festival camps to the venue and arrange yoga mats, drinking water and refreshments for them. Others who have registered on the portal have been issued necessary instructions to join the mega Yogathon at different venues across the state. Rajasthan holds the Guinness world record by gathering 1.6 lakh participants to do Yoga simultaneously.
