District Health Society organises leprosy awareness campaign Sparsh at Kishtwar

Kishtwar: District Health Society today organizes awareness cum orientation programme regarding Sparsh Leprosy Awareness Campaign.
Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mohd Fareed Bhat gave the detail presentation regarding the campaign where All BMO’s, ASHA workers and other field functionaries were present.
Deputy CMO asked all the field functionaries to generate awareness among the common masses in their respective areas.
They were also apprised of the mode, transmission, symptoms and treatment of the leprosy. The pledge was also taken by all the participants to ensure eradication of leprosy at grass root level.
