Eight AMU Students Qualify Combined Geo-Scientist Examination
Aligarh : Eight students from the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been selected for the posts of Geologist and Hydro-geologist in the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination-2022 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Government of India.
The students selected as Geologists to work in the Geological Survey of India are Md. Tanweer Ahmad (AIR 10), Almas Afreen (AIR 24), Mohd. Sajid (AIR 41), Mohammad Aatif Raza (AIR 48), Ghulam Asif (AIR 51), and Abuzar Kamal (AIR 76).
Besides them, Ramish Mehdi (AIR 5), and Masarul Islam have qualified the examination for the post of Hydro-geologist to work in the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB).
Prof Kr. Farahim Khan (Chairman, Department of Geology) congratulated the selected students.
