Webinar on Tundish Geometry

ALIGARH  : The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University organized a webinar on “Optimization of a Tundish Geometry using CFD and Machine Learning”.

Mr. Dilshad Ahmad, Senior Scientist, TCS Innovation Labs, Tata Research Development and Design Centre (TRDDC), Pune delivered an expert lecture on the optimization of Tundish geometry used in steel processing using computational fluid dynamics and machine learning.

He highlighted the relevance of CFD and machine learning in the industry and education.

Earlier, welcoming the guest speaker, Prof M Muzammil (Chairperson, Department of Mechanical Engineering) discussed the core issues related to the topic of the webinar and elucidated the importance of the presenter’s research topic to the participants.

A large number of participants from Delhi Technological University, Delhi, Integral University, Lucknow, Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad attended the seminar and participated in the interactive session.

Prof Mubashshir Ahmad Ansari and Dr. Rashid Ali were the coordinators of the programme. Dr Rashid also conducted the webinar.
