School of Meaningful Experiences, Ahmedabad University collaborate for a one-of-its-kind Communication Programme for Industry Leaders
Bengaluru : The School of Meaningful Experiences (SoME), India’s only tech-enabled company creating and delivering transformative Communication programmes for professionals and industry leaders, has collaborated with Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University, for a one-of-its-kind Oratory Programme – called Keynote. The Programme has been especially designed for CXOs, leadership teams, and startup founders.
The 20-hour blended programme with a majority component at campus is designed to empower participants to become impactful keynote speakers, persuasive panellists, and inspiring thought leaders at prestigious industry events, media engagements, and investor meetings, among others. The mission is to inspire industry leaders to speak with confidence and conviction so that they are heard and understood.
Speaking about the programme, Rakesh Godhwani, Founder & CEO, SoME, said, “SoME is delighted and honoured to partner with Ahmedabad University for Keynote, a unique programme to empower the leaders of tomorrow with strong communication skills. No matter what industry you are in, if you are a leader – or aspire to be one – you need to learn to listen with curiosity and speak with clarity and confidence. Communicating skilfully is an art that can be mastered. It’s not about proficiency in English or educational qualifications, effective communication is about connecting with your audience and getting through to them with your words. Good communicators are good leaders.”
Sankarshan Basu, Dean of Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University, further added, “Communication, or effective communication, is what differentiates a successful leader from a not-so-successful one. This is all the more important in the VUCA world, where everything is volatile and does need extra attention. A slip of the tongue could cost millions directly and billions indirectly. Amrut Mody School of Management and the School of Meaningful Experiences have come together to address these issues in a very practical manner through a customised course directed at current and future leaders.”
Since its inception in 2018, SoME has delivered numerous transformative and impactful programmes. These programmes don’t just teach communication, but also life skills that aid the learners’ personal, professional, and emotional growth.
SoME’s programmes are based on the organisation’s unique ‘Six Cs’ philosophy that empowers learners with key life skills, namely Communication, Confidence, Collaboration, Curiosity, Competence and Creativity.
