Kolkata : Bharat Educativa organised a seminar on the future of education on the 16 February 2023 at Rotary Sadan, Kolkata. The twin session seminar covered topics such as digital marketing, blockchain and the agreement signed between India and the UK on recognition of academic qualifications.
The second session covered the roadmap of the 2022 National Education Policy. The sessions were attended by various academicians, students and professionals to the seminar.
The panel included Mr. Shishir Bajoria–Chairman of SK Bajoria Group and BJP leader in Kolkata, Mr. Sankarshan Basu , Professor at IIM-B and currently Dean of Amrut Mody School of Management, Mr. Debanjan Chakrabarti, Director, British Council East and North East India, Mr. Nandan Sengupta, Professor at Cambridge Marketing, Dr.Debnita Chakravarti Associate Professor of English at Shri Shikshayatan University, Ms Amita Prasad, Director Indus Valley World School, Mr. John A. Bagul, Principal South City International School and Mr. Sarojesh Mukerjee, Director The Cambridge School.
Speaking after the Seminar, Mr Bajoria said “Stated NEP is going to change the landscape of education and provide everyone with equal opportunity and help people find the right path. It will also help them shape and develop their respective skill in the field”.
Mr Debanjan added that “the implications of NEP with reference to International education and careers in general, the UK-India agreement in particular in the context of new polices like dual degree recognition, blended modes and stressed on the vocational skills.”
Bharat Educativa engages with the industry and educational institutions by offering online courses.These courses are designed and offered in response to industry needs and student demands.
Mr. Nandan Sengupta: Spoke on the impact of Digital Marketing in today’s era & how brands utilise it to reach out to its target audience. He also spoke about the requirement of practical skills along with theoretical knowledge as this is the era of “Learning by Doing,” and how NEP will help in achieving it.
John A Bagul: He stated how Artificial Intelligence will help shape the future of students & faculty once NEP is implemented.
The panellists made the session interactive and interesting clarifying various doubts surrounding NEP that how it intend to make the whole education system flexible.
The Founders Mr. Cheriyan Abraham and Vignesh Arun Kumar had organised the event and are planning to host such events in the near future in various cities and address various issues related to education and create awareness on various educational options that are available apart from the mainstream courses.
