AMU faculty delivers lecture as resource person

Aligarh: Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Department of Commerce, AMU as a Resource Person in the 7-Day National Workshop on Local Self-Governance & Rural Development Organised by University of Kerala Study & Research Centre, Alappuzha, spoke on the best Practices for the Development of the Rural Sector in India and pointed out that Nation’s economy is developing fast, industries and big corporations are now global stakeholders.

Prof Khan also highlighted the life of rural people along with the problems in rural development and suggested some best Practices for increased rural development by Labour-Intensive Techniques, educating the Rural Entrepreneurs, offering finance at a low rate of interestGovernment Role, Utilization of village resources, Micro Credit Schemes,Agriculture diversification and establishing agro-food processing units etc
