Two Chennai Students Make a Big International Impact by Excelling academically in the Pearson Edexcel Global Examination.
We are highly delighted and honoured to announce that two students from BVM International School, Shollinganallur, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India Aparna Karthick Rajesh from Grade 10 and Sasrika Bellamkonda from Grade 6 were awarded The OPLA award by Mr.Ben Greshon – Portfolio Manager -PSQ Global Product along with Mr.Baljit Singh – Regional Manager – India for scoring the highest subject marks in country for iLower Secondary 2021 exam and iPrimary 2022 exam respectively conducted by Pearson Edexcel. Aparna was the highest scorer in Math and Sasrika was the highest scorer in English and Science.
The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards 2022 (OPLAs) was conducted in Chennai on 24th February 2023 (Friday) which recognize learners worldwide (outside the UK) who have taken Pearson Edexcel iPrimary, iLowerSecondary, International GCSE, GCSE, International AS/A level and A level examinations and have achieved outstanding results.
Getting the top grade in the country is a genuinely remarkable accomplishment. These outcomes demonstrate their perseverance, determination, and sustained effort. Students like Aparna and Sasrika are among those who not only bring honor to the school but may also serve as a motivation and role model for others.
The BVM International School’s teachers and staff proceeded to prepare the students. The school, its teachers and support staff continued to help students in any way they could by providing frequent reinforcement.
