“Choona Hai Aasman” talent hunt programme held at Doda

Doda: A talent hunt programme “CHOONA HAI AASMAN-2019” was organised today by Range Police Headquarters, Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range (DKR), under Civic Action Programme.
The range level musical contest was held under the supervision of DIG DKR, Bhim Sen Tuti, and it witnessed participation of 25 youth from District Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban, the winners of local contests.
The contest was held in three categories “A” category from 05 to 12 years, “B” category from 13 to 18 years and “C” category from 19 to 25 years.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr. Sagar D. Doifode was the chief guest and SSP Doda, Mumtaz Ahmed was the guest of Honour.
Those selected at the Range level would compete at the Zonal Level and the winners would participate in the grand finale.
Out of 25 contestants, who participated in audition round at Range Level, 09 were selected by the jury, 03 in each category.
In “A” category (05 to 12 yrs.), first prize was bagged by Adil Farooq of Bilalabad Kishtwar, 2nd prize went to Smridhi Sen of Hatta Kishtwar and 3rd prize was bagged by Mamta Shan of Chergi Kishtwar.
Among the participants selected in “B” category (13 to 18 yrs.), 1st prize went to Sohaib Ahmed of Umar Mohalla, Kishtwar, 2nd prize was bagged by Divya Bharti of Champa Batote and 3rd prize went to Anuj Sharma of Halaran Joura, Tehsil Kahara.
In “C” category (19 to 25 yrs.), the first prize went to Touqir Ali of Attalgrah Bhaderwah, 2nd prize to Anil Kumar of Jatote and 3rd prize to Natasha of Hora Saroor Tatani.
