Cambridge Assessment English will enhance the communication skills of 50000 students across Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi: Cambridge Assessment English, a department of the University of Cambridge, UK had signed a MoU with Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh earlier.
The Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has recognized the success of Cambridge Assessment English’s pilot program to enhance the communication skills of students. As a result, this joint initiative will expand from 2000 to 50000 students across the state.
The above announcement was made by Mr. Jitu Patwari, Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh after the discussion with Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Kamal Nath.
Dr. Anupama Rawat, Officer on Special Duty, Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh, Ms. Francesca Woodward, CEO, Cambridge Assessment English, UK and Mr. T K Arunachalam, Regional Director – South Asia, Cambridge Assessment English addressed in a media briefing session at Institute of Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE), Bhopal to explain the above announcement.
Ms. Francesca Woodward, CEO, Cambridge Assessment English thanked Mr. Jitu Patwari, Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh for his proactive role in the success of this program.
This initiative from the Government of Madhya Pradesh to implement international standards of English enables students to communicate effectively on a global level. By incorporating Cambridge Assessment English into their English language programmes, universities can ensure that their students develop effective language skills that prepare them for employment and further study, both in India and worldwide.
