Separate Clinic for Speciality of Public Health Dentistry

Aligarh : The Dr ZA Dental College, AMU inaugurates a separate clinic for the specialty of Public Health Dentistry under the Department of Periodontia and Community Dentistry. The newly constructed PHD Clinic was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor , who highlighted the need for the Public Health Dentistry Clinic and its benefits to the surrounding community and added that people should be made aware of the various dental facilities that they can avail.

Prof RK Tewari (Principal, Dr. ZA Dental College AMU) announced the admission of the first batch of Post graduate under the speciality of Public health Dentistry from the session 2023-2024.

Prof Neha Agarwal from the speciality of Public Health Dentistry added that the clinic intends to cater to the current and future dental treatments along with oral health awareness needs of the Public.

Dr Pramod Kumar Yadav and Dr Syed Amaan Ali summarized the event. The Chairperson Prof Vivek Kumar Sharma and the faculty of Periodontia and Community Dentistry expressed their views.

Dean Faculty of Medicine Prof Veena Maheshwari , Principal JN Medical College Prof Rakesh Bhargawa and the faculty members of Dept of Periodontia and Community Dentistry were present during the inaugural function.
