VM Hall wins Inter-Hall Volleyball Tournament

Aligarh: Viqarul Mulk (VM) Hall lifted the Volleyball trophy in the Inter-Hall Volleyball tournament by defeating Mohammad Habib (MH) Hall in a straight set 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-21) at the University Volleyball court, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The tournament was organized by Gymkhana Club, University Games Committee, AMU.

The Viqar Mulk Hall volleyball team led by Younus Khan won the tournament after forty four years in a nail-biting contest. For VM Hall, Tabish and Majid were phenomenal and showed impeccable skills in the match.

Before the start of the match, Chief Guest Mr. Nasim, Additional District Judge, Badaun said sports is all about growth, and win and loss are just the outcomes of the game. He said that players should work hard to represent the University at National and International level.

Guest of honour Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, Provost, Sir Syed Hall (South), and Special Guest Mr. Taufiq Ahmad encouraged the team players for better performance and distributed trophies among the players of both the teams.
