TECNO, IIT-D collaborate to organize first-of-its Gaming-design centric Avatar Making Competition in India

New Delhi : TECNO, the global premium technology brand, in collaboration with IIT-Delhi, is organizing TECNO Avatar Making competition, a nationwide graphic design-centric contest between 17-27 March to identify and recognize creative and innovative talents in India. The competition is open for participation of talented students from 800 esteemed colleges and universities across the country. Notably, the association is a part of the brand’s Youth-connect program that aims to identify and inspire young minds and give them a platform to showcase their talents and skills to the public.

 

The competition, which is an extension of IIT Delhi’s annual cultural fest Rendezvous 2023 will witness participants creating ‘Gaming characters’ that represent the characteristics that are incorporated in the POVA series powered by TECNO. The POVA product line from TECNO echoes the trinity of speed, power and performance and is revered to bring an unparalleled gaming experience and an augmented smartphone performance to the users. The participants’ entries should also reflect the essence of durability and agility. The same is required to be submitted at unstop portal by 27th March 2023 as a GB box design.

 

The winning avatar art will get a chance to be featured on the packaging of the upcoming POVA series’ limited gaming edition smartphones. In addition, the top three entries also stand a chance to win exciting prizes from TECNO. Furthermore, this youth-oriented initiative gives students an opportunity to exhibit their distinctive artistic abilities and gain exposure as well.

TECNO’s association with IIT-D is also aimed at supporting and nurturing young talents across the country as the brand sees educational institutes as hub of innovation and fresh ideas. The competition also showcases TECNO’s mission of celebrating skill, merit, and art by providing a platform to students to bring their ideas to fore. TECNO constantly endeavors to encourage young minds and it recently associated with Skyesports to organise a year-long mobile gaming extravaganza named, CODM POVA Cup.
