Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Delivers Inaugural Address At The ‘Future Of Learning Collaborative’

Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan
delivered an inaugural address at the ‘Future of Learning Collaborative’ hosted by Anant National University and
Penn GSE for reimagining a richer & future-ready learning environment.
While addressing, he stated that people-centric solutions is the core of education for a sustainable future, and the way forward is holistic thinking.

The 21st century is the century of knowledge and a century for empowerment through knowledge, he added.
He said that the Indic way of living & knowledge traditions are based on the idea of ‘Samagra’ & contemporary holistic thinking is an expression of these traditions. In today’s world, design thinking offers an opportunity to reinvent the Indic process for the benefit of humanity.

Talking about #NEP2020, he asserted that with the implementation of National Education Policy 2020, we are blending the centuries-old tradition of ‘Ideate, Create & Test’ to strengthen and reimagine our education system, making it more practice-based and people-centric.

He lauded university’s holistic approach to design thinking for developing equitable and sustainable solutions dedicated to future.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan also complimented Anant National University putting efforts to incorporate a future-focused pedagogy involving the head, heart and hand.
