Moreover, UrFU will be the largest site in the city. Registration for “Total Dictation” has already started at the official project website.
The dictation in UrFU will take place in the Demidov Hall (51, Lenin Avenue). The text will be read by Konstantin Zushchik, the host of the program “Vesti-Ural”, the lecturer of the Basic Department of Television and New Media at the Ural Federal University.
“Holding an event at the Ural Federal University is a good tradition that we try to maintain. Everyone is welcome, especially since we have 350 seats this year. Demidov Hall is a large and comfortable auditorium and everyone will be able to see and hear everything,” the university said.
The works of the participants are traditionally examined by senior philology students, this is a long successful practice of active participation of the university in the “Total Dictation”.
This year the text for the campaign was written by the writer and journalist Vasily Avchenko. It is dedicated to Vladimir Arsenyev, a traveler, writer, researcher of the Far East.
In Ekaterinburg, about 2,000 people are expected to participate in the offline format. Another option is to test your knowledge of Russian online. This year Nizhny Tagil has become the capital of “Total Dictation”. The text will be read at the Demidov Ironworks by the author of the dictation himself.
