Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Free Medical Camp held at Sewa Chiralla

DODA : A free mega medical camp was held today at Village Sewa Chiralla in Medical Block Thathri. The Camp was organised by District Health Society Doda as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programme and Adbhut Doda initiative of the District Administration.

The camp was held under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr A H Zargar and guidance of BMO Thathri, Dr Ghansham Singh.

The medical camp was organized with the aim to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area at their door steps.

A team of doctors and paramedical staff including staff from MMU Doda viz Dr Rohit Katoch, Dr Pratibah, Dr Ikhlaq Hussain, Anil Kumar, Swami Raj besides local ASHAs rendered their services and examined around 100 patients who had come from different areas. Free medicines were also distributed among the patients.
