Aisect to organize the second edition of the National Conference on the “Role of skill development, financial inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship

Bhopal : Economic empowerment and inclusive growth are at the core of all nation-building efforts. In recent times, the social entrepreneurship ecosystem has been immensely diversified and it is providing many opportunities for upcoming new-age entrepreneurs. Keeping this in perspective and to make India ‘Atmanirbhar’, a two-day National Conference on Social Entrepreneurship is being organized by AISECT, the sponsoring body of Rabindranath Tagore University, to promote social entrepreneurship in the country and address the challenges associated with it.

 

The conference is scheduled to be held on 26 & 27 April 2023 at Kushabhau Thakre Hall, Bhopal at 12 noon. The theme of the symposium is the role of “Skill Development, Financial Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship” in building an Atmanirbhar Bharat. The delegates and distinguished speakers are comprised of a niche panel of exceptional workers in the field of social entrepreneurship from across the country.

 

The first day of the National Conference will be inaugurated by the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh Shri Mangubhai Patel. The dais will be graced by the Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Mr. Santosh Choubey, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Secretary of the sponsoring body AISECT, Mrs. Shalini Singh, CEO of Capital Goods Sector Skill Council, Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi, Director of AISECT Group of Universities, Dr. Vijay Singh, Registrar of Rabindranath Tagore University and Mr. Abhishek Pandit, Pro-Chancellor of AISECT University, Hazaribagh with an expected attendance of over 500 social and micro-entrepreneurs from across the country.

 

The upcoming chapter will have several sessions by expert speakers from across the country who will share insight into the aspects of social entrepreneurship and skill development. The conference is expected to gather a lot of momentum from the entrepreneur communities, while offering a power-packed line-up of industry veterans like Abhinav Gupta, Western Region Head, Government and Public Sector, Microsoft, Subbaraman, Senior Vice President, HCL Tech, Dr. Debapriya Dutta, Director and SSTP, Department of Science and Technology, Dr. O.P. Goyal, former head, BOSCH CSR, Advisor-NSDC, Mr, Sudhir Srivastav, GM- Department of Tribal affairs, MAPSET.

 

The second day of the conference will be graced by the presence of Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, with Shri Prahlad Patel as the chief guest. The distinguished panel of guests also include Mr. Dilip S. Nirkhe , General Manager, SBI, Corporate office Mumbai, Mr. Tarsem Singh Zira, Zonal Head, Central Bank of India Bhopal, Mr. Purnachandra Panigrahi, Ex General Manager, Union Bank of India, Dr. Naveen Kumar Kaipala, Sr. Faculty, NIBM, Pune, Mr. D Tripathi, CEO & MD, BCRC, Delhi, and Mr. Naveen Rawat, DGM, State Bank of India, LHO Bhopal.
