University of Central Missouri Nursing and Business Graduate Programs Ranked Best In Nation

The 2023-2024 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings have recognized the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and the part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs at the University of Central Missouri for their high enrollment rates, high average test scores and more.

As a distinguished provider of collegiate information, resources and rankings, U.S. News & World Report is a valuable tool for students to determine the best fit for their educational goals. The organization collaborates with industry experts to release yearly rankings for reputable programs throughout the country. In addition to surveys and peer review data, U.S. News uses statistical data reported from colleges to determine its annual rankings. Factors compared include enrollment; acceptance rates, test scores, diversity, student-faculty ratios, starting salaries and job placement. The media company values and practices utmost transparency by offering in-depth details regarding its ranking methodologies.

Between fall 2022 and early 2023, U.S. News conducted a survey of business schools to gather data on six ranking factors for part-time programs; peer assessment scores, GMAT/GRE scores, average undergraduate GPA of all new 2022 entrants, the average number of work experience in months, the proportion of part-time students to full institutional enrollment and total part-time enrollment. UCM’s part-time MBA is located in the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies, and its total enrollment for 2022 was 112, placing it in the top 50 percent nationally.

Organizations like Forbes, Intelligent.com and University HQ have recognized the MBA program at UCM as an exceptional program and have included it in their rankings. Fortune Education recently recognized UCM’s program among the Best Part-Time MBA Programs and one of the 25 Most Affordable MBAs in 2022-2023.

U.S. News’ rankings for the Nursing, MS in the College of Health, Science and Technology. were determined by 15 indicators dispersed across four categories; master’s program student selectivity and master’s program size, quality assessment, research activity and faculty resources.

The latest national recognition for UCM’s Nursing graduate program is a continuation of past achievements. U.S. News ranked UCM’s MSN among the Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs in 2021 and 2022 consecutively as well as one of the Best Nursing Schools: Master’s in 2022. UCM was also named to The Princeton Review’s 2023 Best Online Nursing School Master’s Programs.
