PW (Physics Wallah) launches 50 Vidyapeeth centers across India; invests 10 million USD in tech innovation on transforming offline coaching
PW (Physics Wallah), India’s leading ed-tech platform, aims to transform the offline coaching industry by integrating technology with the launch of 50 Vidyapeeth centers across the country. The 650 smart classrooms across 50 centers will enable PW to reach out to a larger student base and provide them with the best possible learning experience for their upcoming JEE/NEET exams. PW plans to recruit over 1200 top faculty members across India, and they will be provided robust training for standardized content delivery and better results. The ed-tech unicorn is already running 11 Vidyapeeth centers in various cities across the country.
The states in which PW has opened its new Vidyapeeth centers are Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
The Vidyapeeth centers will offer students regular daily practice problems (DPPs), video quizzes, and homework monitoring, which can be accessed on the parent-student dashboard. Additionally, all lectures will be uploaded on the PW app after every class, making it convenient for students to access them anytime, anywhere.
With in-house tech Innovation PW is at the forefront for its teaching approach, with the introduction of 3-D modeling. This will provide students with a practical, real-time experience of what they are studying, enhancing their understanding of the subject matter. Furthermore, PW has Saarthi, which provides students with personal coaches who are available for 15 hours to help them with any doubts or questions they may have, creating personalized study plans, revising coursework, and even conducting parent-teacher meetings.
Apart from academic support, PW is also prioritizing the overall well-being of its students, with regular physical and mental wellness activities. The Prerna helpline is another initiative by PW to provide students with expert advice and support in case they face any psychological stress during their preparation.
PW is offering up to 90% scholarships for PW classroom programs through PWSAT (PW Scholarship and Admission Test) to further assist meritorious students in their educational pursuits.
Alakh Pandey, founder of PW, said: “Our primary objective is to provide access to quality education for all students across India. Through Vidyapeeth, top-quality education is made accessible in remote parts of the country by enabling them to study in their own cities. We aim to help parents save money that would have been spent on hostel fees and other living expenses – which are typically twice the amount of academic fees. In terms of academics, we will also conduct extra classes and regular tests for students while also providing them with a test analytics dashboard to help them prepare well for competitive exams.
Prateek Maheshwari, Co-Founder of PW, said: “Vidyapeeth is a revolutionary initiative in the ed-tech sector. We have invested 10 million USD in tech innovation to help students achieve their goals. Vidyapeeth centers will offer support for more than 15 hours a day, and students will also have the provision to escalate any issue to our head office via the PW app. Vidyapeeth is a tech-integrated offline classroom offering cost-effective and in-depth training with well-researched course material and India’s best faculty.”
PW is known for offering students the best online, offline, and hybrid classes nationwide. With easy-to-understand and engaging video lectures, PW ensures its students get a solid grasp of the subject. PW’s experienced and dedicated faculty makes the platform stand out.
