World famous Indian classical Dance Guru Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh presents ‘Shashwat Bharat Festival – Celebration of Eternal India: KalaYatra 2023’, A Tribute to the timeless spirit of cultural diversity with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Edition from 6th May to 8th May 2023 at Kamani Auditorium in Delhi. 46th edition of KalaYatra will be organized by Shri Kamakhya kalapeeth centre of Indian Classical Dances.

 

Shashwat Bharat Festival will light the Delhi skyline with a riot of colours, exciting performances and a festive spirit. Mark your calendars for the annual cultural bonanza- KalaYatra 2023. “Shashwat Bharat Festival – Celebration of Eternal India”, has an exciting array of performances from famous artistes from all over India.  Festival is one of its kinds as it includes all genres of music, dance, and theatre from the most traditional to the most contemporary expressions of all these art forms.

Opening gala celebration of Shashwat Bharat : Kala yatra 2023 on Saturday 6th May 2023  will be start from Inaugural performance Natya Katha: Meera on life of Saint Meera Bai by Dr Soanl Manshing and group and confluence of Carnatic & Hindustani Instrumental Music by Vidwan Shri N Ravikiran- Chitravina, Maestro Saskia Rao- India Cello, Pt.Shubhendra Rao – Sitar with Carnatic & Hindustani Group of Master percussionists. Folk songs and Music will be the main attraction of 2nd day of the festival.  Delong Padung & Group from Arunachal Pradesh, Yogesh Bhai Gadhavi & Group from Gujarat, Ustad Anwar Khan Manganiyar & Group from Rajasthan and Famous Singer Maithili Thakur & Group from Bihar will captivate the Music lovers on Sunday, 7th May 2023 . Shashwat Bharat Festival will conclude on Monday, 8th May with Tradition of Tribal Dance performances by tribal folk dance artists from across India .

Founder of Shri Kamakhya kalapeeth centre of Indian Classical Dances and Festival Director Padma Vibhushan Dr, Sonal Mansigh said, “This year is special in many aspects. It is the 75th year of our beloved Country’s independence from colonial rule, AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV and India G 20 Presidency. India’s G20 presidency is a watershed moment in Indian history as it seeks to pay an important role by finding pragmatic global solutions for the wellbeing of all, and is doing so, manifest the true spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.”
