Student from Orchids The International School wins a gold medal in the State Shooting Championship
14-year-old Ahmed Nooh from Orchids The International School, Bannerghatta branch, participated in the Karnataka State Challengers Cup 2023 conducted at Sai Shooting Range, Bangalore, and secured gold and silver medals at the state-level shooting competition. He is an allrounder with multiple hobbies such as guitar, karate etc.
Ahmed participated in the Karnataka State challengers cup 2023 in Bangalore as part of the competition. Surpassing several participants, he has secured gold in the 10M air pistol youth men NR team, gold in the 10M Air pistol junior men NR team, and silver in the 10M Air pistol sub-youth men NR team.
Covid-19 helped Nooh find his passion for shooting. He participated in several other championships, that includes the 13th South Zone Shooting Championship held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where he qualified for the pre-National, and the 31st All India G.V. Mavlankar shooting championship pistol held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where he qualified for the National. With the medals in shooting, he has also won the gold medal for Taekwondo in the Khel-Mohotsav Inter Orchidian event.

In addition to his accomplishments in shooting, Nooh has earned a green belt from All India Seibudo Kai Kai Karate, a gold medal in mental arithmetic and brain skills by Indian Abacus Academy: Bangalore, and a bronze medal in Marathon [Education is Freedom] by Red bridge International Academy.
