AMU Gas Agency receives the first prize by IOCL
ALIGARH : The Aligarh Muslim University Gas Agency has been given the first prize by the Indian Oil Corporation for excellent sales and services provided to the university employees, departments and halls of residence. The prize was announced in an annual function held at Varanasi, informed Dr. Riaz Ahmad, Member Incharge, AMU Gas Agency.
He said the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India is emphasizing on the conservation of energy and consumer safety and reiterating its consumers to use the 10 kg composite cylinders instead of the 14.2 metallic cylinders.
He said that as per the IOCL record, AMU Gas Agency has set a record of highest sale of composite (10kg) fibre cylinders in Agra, Mathura and Aligarh Zone. This is an outstanding achievement made by the AMU Gas Agency.
Mr. Rohit Jain, Sales Manager, Aligarh LSA, presented the award to AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mohd. Gulrez and Mr. Mohd. Imran (IPS), Registrar, on behalf of IOCL.
The Vice Chancellor has congratulated Dr. Riaz Ahmad (MIC) and his team for tireless and dedicated efforts put in by them to streamline the LPG distribution and sale across the University campus.
Registrar, Mr Mohammad Imran has also appreciated the performance of the AMU Gas Agency.
