Y20 and Le Rythme Celebrates 162 nd birth anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore : Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam through the vision of Rabindranath Tagore
New Delhi: On the birth anniversary of Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore A seminar cum cultural evening program titled “Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam through the vision of Rabindranath Tagore” was organized by Y20 India in association with Le Rythme at Bipin Chandra Pal Auditorium, CR Park, Delhi. In the cultural evening, the artist of Le Rythme School of Music mesmerized the audience by performing a panoramic dance on Rabindra Sangeet.
Dr. Anirban Ganguly, Director of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Research Foundation and mentor of Y20 graced the occasion as Chief Guest, other Y20 officials including Sh Parikshit Payne, Officials from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Executive Director of GAIL India Ltd Sh Supriyo Halder, Rajib Mukhapadhyay the Co – Founder and Trustee of Le Rhythm were present along with other dignitaries. Dr Ganguly mentioned that Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore was the prime articulator and narrator of the thoughts of One Earth One Family One Future which is the key of India’s Presidency on G20. His work and thoughts were based on this principle. Eminent Author Sh Amit Goswami participated in the discussion. Y20 Coordination Head Sh Pathikrit Payne mentioned how India has supported the world in different ways during Covid and other crisis period with the belief of One Earth One Family. The performances by Young Artists of Le Rythme and Flute recital by Maestro Pt. Rajendra Prasanna could captivate the audience with the Songs, Music and Dances of Gurudev Tagore.
The performances were primarily based on the thoughts of Gurudev on beauty of nature, happiness, peace, harmony, across the globe. Rajib Mukhapadhay offered vote of thanks mentioning that Gurudev was the prime ambassador of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam for the better world with the concept of one earth one family “ Where knowledge is free , where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls, where words come out from the depth of truth … my father, let my country awake”
