Sushri Kavita Pandey to receive Devkrishna Jatashankar Joshi award

Bhopal : Ustad Allaudin Khan Music and Art Academy has announced the Rupankar Art Exhibition awards for the year 2020. The Selection Committee formed at national level comprised Shri R.M. Palani Appan from Chennai, Shri Harsh Swaminathan and Shri Amitav Das from Delhi.

The selected awardees include Sushri Kavita Pandey from Jabalpur who will be awarded with the Devkrishna Jatashankar Joshi award, Shri Avdhesh Tamrakar of Sagar with Mukund Sakharam Bhand award, Shri Govind Vishwas of Bhopal with Sayyed Haider Raza award, Sushri Vishakha Hardikar Mall of Ujjain with Dattatreya Damodar Devlalikar award, Shri Narendra Mukherji of Jabalpur with Jagdish Swaminathan award, Sushri Priyanka Sakargaye of Khandwa with Vishnu Chinchalkar award, Shri Sharad Pandey of Jabalpur with Narayan Shridhar Bendre award, Shri Shubham Verma of Bhopal with Raghunath Krishnarao Phadke award, Sushri Monika Sheth of Indore with Ram Manohar Sinha award and Shri Abhash Mahendre of Indore with Lakshmi Shankar Rajput award.

Apart from this, Shri Aditya Singh Rajput of Jabalpur, Shri Prabhat Kumar Barmaiyya of Seoni, Shri Yashwant Singh of Bhopal and Shri Ankit Punyasi of Indore have been selected for Special Appreciation Award.

54 selected artworks to be kept in art exhibition

On this occasion, the Madhya Pradesh State Rupankar Art Award Exhibition has been organized by the Academy. This exhibition will be held from 15 to 25 March, 2020 in Devlalikar Art-Gallery of Indore. As many as 177 artworks of 83 artists were received for this exhibition out of which 54 will be kept for display.
