Training Programme on Poshan Tracker App held in Ramban
RAMBAN : A one day Training Programme on Poshan Tracker App for Anganwadi workers of ICDS (Poshan) Project Gool and Ramban was organized today by ICDS Ramban here in the Conference hall in DC Office Complex.
Over 200 Anganwadi Workers and Supervisors of ICDS (Poshan) Project Gool and ICDS (Poshan) project Ramban attended the day-long training session.
The Resource Person, Ankush Sharma from National E-governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronic & Information Technology gave a detailed presentation, along with Hands-on training on how to use the updated version of the Poshan Tracker App.
Informative videos and other IEC materials were shared with the participants to keep them updated with the technological intervention for better and effective monitoring of AWCs in ICDS projects of Ramban and Gool.
Poshan Tracker App is a platform to monitor and track the identified activities of Anganwadi Centers, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers and beneficiaries under Poshan Abhiyaan on a real time basis. The App offers a complete beneficiary management system for Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers and Children.
Speaking at the inaugural session, PO ICDS Ramban Jahangir Hashmi sensitised the Anganwadi workers and Supervisors about the importance of Poshan tracker.
He said that on the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, the month of May has been dedicated as the capacity building month for field functionaries of ICDS Ramban for effective and successful implementation of various components of Poshan Abhiyaan scheme.
He said that the Capacity building of Anganwadi Supervisors and Workers of Ramban District will enable them to develop competencies and skills that can make them more effective and sustainable together with effective and transparent implementation of Poshan Abhiyan Schemes in Ramban district.
He requested the training resource person to give more focus on practical sessions and demos during the ratings.
It is informed that a number of training programmes have been organised by ICDS Ramban during the past 25 days. This includes the training of Anganwadi workers and Supervisors on Early Childhood Care (ECCE) and learning modules to transform the rural childcare centres across the district for children aged 3 to 6 in collaboration with CII.
Last week around 20 Anganwadi workers from across the Ramban district were trained for Adhaar enrolment at Ramban in collaboration with UAID.
Child Development Project Officer, Ramban Ravinder Kaur and other officers and officials from ICDS attended the programme.
