IIM Kozhikode PhD Scholar among 35 Indians Awarded the Australia-India Research Scholarship (AIRS)
IIM Kozhikode Doctoral (PhD) Student Mr. Kushagra Sharan is the sole winner across IIMs who has been awarded AIRS for visiting University of Wollongong to pursue his research interest. Fellowships of up to AUD $10,000 have been awarded to 63 research students and post-doctoral scholars (early-career researchers), which includes 35 Indians and 28 Australian Scholars.
Kozhikode : Mr Kushagra Sharan, a PhD Scholar from the 14th Batch of IIM Kozhikode’s Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) has brought international laurels to the leading B-School, by bagging the prestigious Australia India Research Scholarship (AIRS). Mr Sharan is the only PhD Scholar across IIMs and one amongst 35 Indians to be awarded this Scholarship.
Kushagra Sharan belongs to Ranchi, Jharkhand and is pursuing his PhD in Strategic Management at IIM Kozhikode. He will be visiting University of Wollongong, Australia, to pursue his research interest as part of the Scholarship. Fellowships of up to AUD $10,000 have been awarded to 63 research students and post-doctoral scholars (early-career researchers), which includes 28 Australian Scholars too. The bilateral program, led by the Australia India Institute and funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Education, supports emerging researchers from India and Australia to undertake short-term research exchanges. The 2023 Fellows will undertake a research project during an exchange of 4 to 8 weeks, to be completed by mid-October 2023.
